One-day script and story workshop

This one-day script and story workshop allows for writers to bring their story ideas to the table for discussion. During the day we will be focusing on some key principals of feature film storytelling and participants are invited to put forward their ideas into discussion. The day is open for feature writers as well as those working on short films. There will be focus in journey arc for the protagonist and we will touch on structure, technical tools, flashback and forms of narrative structure as well as consider theme. This workshop day follows the recently successful screenwriting workshop held at the Bristol Film Academy. Ideas brought to the table can be at different stages. This workshop aims to be a fun, supportive environment. We will purposely keep the number of participants low on in order to give time and attention to each person so please book early.

The day is run by writer/director Rachel Tillotson who is an award winning filmmaker and film lecturer. Rachel is a BAFTA winner and has won numerous awards for her short films, many of which she has written. She has also been a University Lecturer for years, and has taught at Goldsmiths University, Royal College of Art, and Falmouth University and is now at The University of Gloucestershire.
