IoD South West Interactive visit to The Bottle Yard

Join us for an exclusive look behind the scenes at The Bottle Yard, a catalyst for effective funding, collaborative working and the latest in filming techniques. You'll join the specialist production teams for an interactive, hands on tour with catering 'out of the van' afterwards for networking!
The SW region is a hive of activity for film and production. Bristol's credentials in this arena are well-known but The Bottle Yard brings all that talent, teamwork and collaboration together in one location. With its proven delivery on effective funding, pre-eminent techniques and regeneration credentials, this is a unique experience to see behind the scenes.
A full tour under the expert guidance of Fiona Francombe and Andy Tyas from The Bottle Yard team and Paul Appleby, Creative Sector Chair, West of England LEP. Come and view the sets of well-known TV sitcoms such as 'Trollied' as well as where the BBC's latest drama 'Frankie' was produced.
Ever fancied getting involved in camera work? Come and experience the tough reality behind the lens! Prosthetics and make-up experts will also be on hand during the tour of the facility to give you a 'taste' of how it all works.
Networking opportunities abound and there'll be catering provided 'out of the van' on our film set.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE STURDY/SENSIBLE FOOTWEAR AND BRING SOMETHING WARM TO WEAR. THIS IS A WORKING FACILITY AND NOT AN OFFICE ENVIRONMENT!
Tea and coffee on arrival, buffet finger food after the tour with soft drinks. Please note that no alcoholic drinks will be provided.
