Join CineMe to celebrate its fifth anniversary at one of Bristol's finest cinemas.

For one night only CineMe presents an evening of short films with a set-list of the finest indepedent films projected onto the silver screen.

This is CineMe's second film event at the Orpheus Cinema and to mark the occasion, we will be running a double main event - The science fiction fan made film 'Judge Minty' based on the 2000AD Judge Dredd comics, together with the horror short 'The Quiet' made by Bristol's I'm With Them Productions.

CineMe will also be screening other quality short films and some of the people involved in their making will be there to talk about their work on the night. These films include:- The award winning Sci-Fi short 'Blinky' directed by the talented Ruairi Robinson and starring the young actor Max Records from Where the Wild Things Are; Academy Award winning animator Emma Lazenby will be talking about her Oscar winning short 'Mother of Many'; the Matt Groening comedy animation 'The Longest Day Care' with Maggie Simpson; the black comedy 'The Claw' which premiered at last years Encounters Short Film Festival; segment 3 of 'The Underwater Realm' series; plus shorts from Bristol filmmakers Matthew Freeth with 'The Port'; Catarina Oliveira's 'Escalation'; Santoshmohan Veeranki's 'The End'; together with a selection of comedy animations from Duncan Beedie.
