3D Filmmaker Sessions

Phil Streather : Make your 3D satisfyingly deep and voluminous!
Monday, May 20th, 16:00-17:15, Watershed Cinema 3

Welcome to the second in a series of exciting 3D Filmmaker Sessions planned for 2013, a collaboration between Watershed and The 3D Network to provide a Bristol based professional forum to explore the creative use of depth, space, and volume in 3D film and television making and the possibilities that this suite of new 3D storytelling tools offer filmmakers.

We are delighted to welcome Phil Streather, CEO of Principal Large Format. Phil is a modern day 3D pioneer, responsible for producing some of the UKs most innovative 3D over the last 10+ years (Bugs!, The London Eye, Meerkats 3D, Carmen in 3D and Madam Butterfly 3D). He's also one of the UKs leading 3D trainers (www.advanced3d.co.uk) who speaks passionately and eloquently on this subject. In this session Phil will show clips from his productions and share insights on achieving satisfying depth and volume in 3D storytelling. Introduction by Stephen Lyle(Enchanted Kingdom 3D). Q+A at the end.

Any money left over will be put behind the bar for networking drinks afterwards.

Please note, this is a professional opportunity and not in Watershed's public programme. Tickets are available via the Box-Office Tel: 0117 9275100. Fee: £5 full, £4 concessions(students and OAPs)

Entry Cost: £5 per person
