Writing for Radio

This course is a beginner’s guide to writing scripts for radio. It will consist of direct teaching and small group work, as well as opportunities for students’ own writing. We’ll also take a brief look at radio drama’s place in our cultural life, listen to examples of radio plays, and look at extracts from scripts to see how they.ve been put together. Some consideration will be given to technical aspects of writing radio plays, creating the words, managing the sounds and building the ideas into plots.
