The Loves of Pharaoh: Silent Film Night

The Loves of Pharaoh: silent film night live musical accompaniment on the harp by Elizabeth -Jane Baldry

A rare showing of Ernst Lubitsch's 'lost' silent epic (1922). The film gives a spectacular vision of ancient Egypt, with a cast of thousands and opulent sets and costumes.

The story mixes a little fact with a lot of fiction: Samlak, King of Ethiopia, offers offers his daughter to a powerful Pharaoh to secure peace between the two countries.
