When: 01 November 2012 9:00am to 02 November 2012 6:00pm

ExPlay launched in 2011 as Southwest's first, and only, indie games festival. Following on from the highly the successful 2011 festival in Plymouth, this year?s ExPlay promises to be bigger and better, taking place in Bath 1st ? 2nd November and continuing to offer stimulating debate, support, inspiration and entertainment for the digital interactive industry from gaming developers to producers, publishers and fans. This years ExPlay has been split into three themes: Inspire, Share and Create. Some highlights in ?Create? are talks from Sony R&D, Unity Technologies and Clive Lindop on the Process of Game Design. Under ?Share? we have ?Startup Stories: Tales from 3 Graduate Startup Studios? and a talk on games for animals, arts, culture and science from Ben Templeton and finally within ?Inspire? we kick off the festival with a talk from Alex Trowers (Moby Games) called ?I have an idea for a game!?, and another from Oscar Clark titled ?Finding Love in the Zombie Apocalypse?. The festival is also showcasing South West companies involved in the ExPlay Bootcamp, displaying new games created at the 24hr ExPlay Game jam, celebrating some of the best talent in the UK at TIGA Games Awards and of course, we're not shy of after parties and other fun game related activities.
