Where: Pervasive Media Studio, Watershed, 1 Canon's Road, Bristol, BS1 5TX

When: 13 July 2012 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Flat-e is the studio of artist/ filmmakers Matt Batemen, Robin McNicolas and Rob Slater. With over ten years of experience, Flat-e is a concept driven studio, working with an open approach to media, aesthetic and technology. Previous projects range from large-scale architectural projection mapping and real-time sensor-based interactives to virals, sculptural installations and set design. Flat-e???s overarching mission is to create high impact content, mind-bending spectacles and playful narrative experiences that entertain, enrich and inspire. For their lunchtime talk Flat-e will discuss some of their work to date, the challenges and benefits of working in the commercial sector, the impact of that work on their artistic identity, and what the future holds for the marriage of commercial economies with the creative mind.
