'CineMe Screenwriting Workshop' - How to write a script for film, or TV.

CineMe presents a 2 hour workshop on how to write a screenplay for film, or television. The workshop will include an introduction to narrative approaches and structures, using the basis of 'The Hero's Journey.' There will be an interactive presentation, a Q&A session, plus we ask members of the audience to bring their narrative ideas and stories, so they can be aided and developed during the workshop. David Lassman will be running the workshop and has over 30 years experience working as a script writer, author and teacher. His work includes working as a columnist and arts critic for the Bath Chronicle, the Bournemouth Daily Echo and the Big Issue. He has completed two novels, written for television, BBC Radio 4, whilst also running The Bath Writers Workshop and establishing, the Bath Screen Network. He is currently working on a television drama series set in Bath. The Screenwriting Workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 4th, 2012, in the Greville Room at The Hen and Chicken Pub, 210 North Street, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 1JF at 8PM.
