The South West???s first ever Freshly Squeezed event will be hosted by the Environment Agency in their state of the art headquarters near Bristol Cathedral on Friday 18 November. The theme is Brands for Breakfast, the cost is low (just £5 for CIPR members), and the format is simple: · 7.45 onwards ??? tea/coffee and pastries; · 8.20 ??? main presentation; · 9.00 ??? question and answer session · 9.30 ??? ends. This event is also a great networking opportunity and we hope this will be the first of many such events right across the South West. Brands for Breakfast Reputation management is essential for success. So our first session, Brands for Breakfast, gives you a chance to find out how the Environment Agency keeps one step ahead. Key to their success is an innovative Brand Bank system, which allows for creativity and quick responses but ensures control for branding and core messages. In essence, Brand Bank allows users to easily store, access and distribute information, photos and images ??? not just across different parts of the organisation but also to different media platforms and to key audiences and media outlets. A template-based design system and in-built clearance process ensure that key branding and core messages are never overlooked or sidelined. And users across the organisation create their own publications with a professional finish as and when they are needed. The Environment Agency has found Brand Bank invaluable, especially in the current economic climate. Is this an approach which would help your own organisation or which you could offer to clients? The company behind the system is ???Be the Brand???. They will be giving a presentation about corporate asset management systems and their potential. You will then get a chance to see how Brand Bank works in practice. How to register Tickets are £10 (or £5 for CIPR members). All tickets must be paid for on the door but if you would like to come, you must register in advance. Places are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To register and to get more information on the event, please email with the reference ???Breakfast November???.
