In light of the current COVID-19 outbreak, Engine Shed will be closed from 5.30pm on 17th March for a period of 30 days.

Engine Shed is part of Brunel's iconic railway station, built in 1841, and is a minute's walk from Bristol Temple Meads.

All Bristol Media corporate members have access to the Engine Shed Members' Lounge - a neutral space for people to discover common interests, bringing a diverse mix of people and companies together through individual connections and projects. You do not need to book to use the Lounge. Check in at reception to register your visit (select Bristol Media from the dropdown menu) with the option to sign in up to two non-members, then use their mix of train carriage style innovation pods, Nooks and tables. The Lounge has eduroam connection and wifi and there's a lovely café in the Lounge to keep you fuelled during your stay.

Other members include University of Bristol, UWE Bristol and Bath University AND Bath Spa University, as well as the IoD, RSA and ICE (Institute for Civil Engineers). Engine Shed is home to Bristol SETsquaredboomsatsuma, and a pay as you go coworking space. Engine Shed is also a project and they work towards creating long term, sustainable economic growth for the West of England region. You can find out more about this by visiting the Projects page and by signing up to newsletters on events and projects.

Bristol Media members get 25% discount on venue hire bookings which include a theatre for up to 80 and Brunel's Boardroom for up to 24, alongside smaller rooms.
