Creative freelance graphic designer confident in working on projects from concept stage through to final execution and artwork.
Experience in working on well known brands such as Vodafone, Dulux, Hovis, The Royal Mint and the NHS as well as small independant brands for theatre companies, schools and local charity campaigns. I also designed 'Bristol Beauty' for the Shaun in the City trail 2015.
Based in Bristol but happy to travel further afield if neccessary.
I have created a brand for my bespoke stationery designs called Ivy & Inks (www.ivyinks.com). As part of my Ivy & Inks service I tend to incorporate my hand drawn lettering work where I can. I draw the letters freehand then vectorise them on the Mac afterwards if necessary.
Mark Sutcliffe received an MBE for his outstanding work with charities after serving in the army. I was approached to help him create an identity for a new charity consultancy he hopes to start soon. We kept the style of the identity classic and timeless, and used a subtle hint towards his MBE by including elements of the medal?s design into the identity.
The director of Lost Souls Creative contacted me after seeing my work on Twitter and Instagram. He wanted a thick, curvaceous hand drawn logo for his new company, launching in 2016. After a few initial ideas, the final logo was selected and refined.
In 2015 I was commissioned by CardNest, a greeting card subscription service based in Bristol, to design a ?Happy Birthday? card which was then printed using gold foil and distributed to their subscribers.
My design ?Bristol Beauty? was on display at Canford Lane, Westbury-on-Trym throughout July and August 2015 in Bristol. Inspired by the eclectic variety of neighbourhoods Bristol has to offer, I decided to hand paint the name of each neighbourhood onto a dusky pink and blue sunset to bring the city together as a whole.
