Hurricane celebrates 10 years of video marketing

Award-winning video marketing agency, Hurricane is 10 years old this month, looking forward to its next decade of developing effective video strategy for leading brands. Bristol-born Hurricane’s growth mirrors the boom in video marketing as it has repositioned from a production house to one of the UK’s foremost video strategy agencies.

Hurricane was founded by Jon Mowat and John Lanyon, both with a background in broadcast TV at the BBC and Endemol.  The two-man operation employed its first staff members in 2007, and from an office without windows, has grown to a diverse team of creatives, planners and marketing strategists with offices in both Bristol and London. The team now work with leading global brands and agencies, including Airbus, Asda, Canon, Sanofi, Peugeot, and GSMA to name a few.

As a specialist video agency, Hurricane was ahead of the curve anticipating the importance of video and is now well-placed to harness the power of moving images for brands by creating clever content informed by insight and multi-channel activation to ensure it reaches and resonates with the right audiences.
