Job description

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and enthusiastic Account Manager to cover maternity leave from January 2018 for 1 year, with potential to move into something more permanent. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients on a day-to-day basis working on regular campaign activity and new projects. You will need to be confident and personable with a can-do attitude.

As Account Manager, you will take responsibility for coordination and delivery of high quality web, design and print solutions - both online and offline - for a portfolio of clients. Working closely with clients and Account Directors, you will get to the heart of the brief, disseminating, pulling together proposals, costings, planning and communicating to the team of developers and designers.

You will nurture client relationships, providing an outstanding level of customer service by understanding the client needs, helping to define and provide solutions for those needs.

You may be required to deliver a range of content and admin-based tasks as part of these projects, including adding content, sending newsletters and undertaking training where new sites have been launched.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as key point of contact for a portfolio of clients
  • Have a full understanding of your client's objectives, brand, business, customers and market, ensuring internal teams are also fully briefed on these
  • Disseminate briefs and requests from clients
  • Manage projects and work in collaboration with the client and internal teams to deliver to a high quality, on budget and to deadline
  • Ensure clients and project team meet agreed milestones
  • Manage the content addition of new builds (if required) and the training programme for new clients
  • Keep track of impending deadlines and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain agreed client activity and budgets and alert the Commercial Director to any budget overspend / underspend
  • Ensure smooth running of projects; from briefing, resource planning, scheduling, process, workflow and logistics to project wrap-up
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget
  • Maintain and document all processes across the project and it’s various deliverables, ensuring regular reporting is updated with key results of the project (timings, budget, etc)
  • Meet with clients (where necessary) and keep them up to date with project progress, take briefs and manage expectations
  • Communicate in a professional and timely manner with clients and internal teams
  • Deliver regular / weekly reports and updates on client activity and project developments

Person specification

  • Experience of managing relationships and delivering campaigns in line with KPI’s
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised, with a sharp eye for attention to detail
  • Confident, with strong interpersonal skills in a client facing situation
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire for continuous personal improvement
  • A great team player
