Wing’s Art is the studio of graphic designer & illustrator Christopher King, aka Wing. I create hand-drawn, digital & vector artwork for posters, flyers, books & advertising. The name ‘Wing’ was a childhood nickname that’s stuck and i’ve chosen to adopt as my studio name after discovering that there are at least 3 other illustrators named Chris King out there! I specialise in traditional, hand-drawn, brush, pen and ink illustration combined with digital and vector elements.I work for a varied range of clients and my work has been featured in Computer Arts magazine, Photoshop Creative, Disorder Magazine, The Big Book of Fashion Illustration and also published around the world in a popular series of children’s novelty & pop-up books. Should you happen frequent Los Angeles’ burlesque venues you might just happen to see some of my poster work there too! I’m greatly inspired by contemporary American masters such as Drew Struzan, Norman Rockwell, J.C. Leyendecker, Dave Stephens and Bob Peak, just to name a few. I’m available for hire on a freelance basis and happy to discuss potential jobs and provide estimates and samples on request.
