Job Title: Event Sales Executive
Reports to: Head of Sales
Location: Bristol / Hybrid working
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus commission

Our channels are an invaluable support to vendors looking to build brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation with their target customers across the accounting profession.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Event Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving event sales and managing client relationships. As an Event Sales Executive, you will play a key role in promoting our events, securing sponsorships, and ensuring the success of each event through effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the finance and accounting industry
- Generate sales leads and build a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the events team to create compelling sales proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and sponsors.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities.
Required skills
Requirements:
- Proven experience in event sales – ideally 1-2 years
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the events industry and market trends.
- A proactive and results-driven approach to sales.
- Experience working with technology or financial services companies, particularly in delivering media, and event propositions is desirable.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and follow your own initiative.
- Sales forecasting / Pipeline management
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Available to travel to events across UK
