I am currently working for Ammonite, as a Production Co-ordinator and Development Producer. Before moving to Bristol at the start of 2010, I worked as a Development Producer, managing corporate clients and productions and developing ideas for programmes, researching and writing treatments for series and one off’s.
I wrote tender documents and pitches for corporate films. I also successfully raised funds for series and films for broadcast on BBC World.
I started out in the industry as a Researcher moving onto Assistant Producer, Producer/Director and Production Co-ordinating/Managing once I had my two children.
Before working in media, I worked in the charity sector and my academic background is Science Communication and Anthropology.
I am a hard working individual who greatly enjoys business development and maintaining strong relationships within a team and with crew, presenters, contributors and clients.
I have a proven track record in negotiating access and setting up shoots around the world, often in difficult environments such as Afghanistan.
Several of the films I have worked on have received awards such as ‘best documentary of the year’ and ‘best creative documentary’.
