MARKETING MANAGER - WILTSHIRE FARM FOODS (3 months)
I worked in the marketing department of this market leader in Frozen Food Home Delivery. My time with the team was my first client side and gave me insight into manufacturing and franchise business models and tested my marketing knowledge and practices. Here I learned to apply my agency experience in new directions and adapt my customer service approach with respect to the network of 70 franchisees and target market of the elderly.
During this time I successfully completed a key project from concept to delivery in less than 1 month. This involved producing 140,000 copies of a 16-page product brochure in five different versions. To support this piece I developed direct mail items, sales promotion leaflets and advertising templates for an 8 week Summer campaign. Whilst working on this project I implemented a new standard for delivering marketing tools to the franchisee network to support Best Practice.
Working within this marketing department enabled me to learn from the team in terms of developing marketing strategies and delivering against business objectives. I am pleased that some of my methods as a project manager have been adopted to improve both internal and external working relationships.
ACCOUNT MANAGER - OPEN COMMUNICATIONS (6 months)
I joined Open when they were originally SixFive Design. The agency had grown from owner-managed business to a team of 4 full-time staff almost overnight following a merger with a digital business. As such the company needed account management support enabling the Managing Director to develop the business strategy and launch Open Communications. My remit was to forge the position of Account Manager into the business through:

\xC3\xA2\xC2\x80\xC2\xA2 Preparing content and overseeing design and delivery of new corporate Website for Open Communications
\xC3\xA2\xC2\x80\xC2\xA2 Account management including delivering trade communications for the Specialized Partnership Services programme. This included two Pitch Books demonstrating in-store merchandising programmes, fixtures brochure and Flash-based DVD presentation with 3D model walkthroughs
