Five years media industry and short film production experience ranging from: documentary, drama
and commercial internet viral production to PR, copywriting and journalism - demonstrating a broad range of interchangeable skills suitable for TV/film and documentary production.
Key Skills:

I have experience of arranging castings (booking 30/40 actors in a day's schedule), location scouting, including liaising with property owners, negotiating budgets, setting schedules and completing assessments.
Polite, punctual and quick to adapt to new situations: a background in journalism gives me the confidence to push the boundaries and strive for perfectionism at all times. My passion lies with drama (TV and film), but I also have experience of corporate/marketing viral production, documentary co-ordination and short film producing/directing.
An MA in Professional Writing (University College Falmouth) ensures that I'm proficient in storytelling, story development, critiquing and interviewing people from different walks of life. I have had a number of features published in national magazines (The Stage and The Ecologist), as well as providing copy for commercial clients (Travel Zest, Guild of Sage & Smith). Versatile and witty, I can turn my hand to any brief with verve and integrity.

- Director/Producer Showreel

-
A short collection of work completed over the last few years. The films range from short drama, to comedy and documentary. My credits on these films include: producer/director/screenwriter/art design/set design/distributor/marketing/promotor/production co-ordinator.
- A Prickly Relationship

-
A newly completed short documentary about an 80-year-old man's life-long obsession with collecting cacti varieties from across the globe. The film is an honest and humorous portrait of a man whose passion for prickly things is as strong as his religious belief. I hold producer/director/promotor/distributor/marketing credits on this production.
- Brave Face

-
This production mentor role entailed supporting award-winning director, Peter Snelling, on a First Light commissioned documentaries shot on location in Edmonton, London. Using strong adaptability and dexterity, I was able to quickly react to changing schedules due to the fluctuating circumstances of the documentary participants (young people from unsettled home lives aged between 7 - 21). I acted as liaison between the crew and a number of council officials and property owners to ensure a smooth and efficient balance of communication. I was in control of collecting and collating release forms for upward of 30 participants, along with additional location releases. I also arranged travel, managed the production budget and ensured links between the crew, executive producer and the youth workers were consistent and balanced. Addition roles included: stills photography, assisting with sound recording, capturing/compressing/filing SD card footage, syncing Tascam sound files with Pro Res footage in Final Cut Pro.
