Mick was part of the team that developed the ground-breaking Donut series of websites, aimed at people running smaller UK businesses. http://www.marketingdonut.co.uk/ http://www.startupdonut.co.uk/ http://www.lawdonut.co.uk/ He wrote the design specification for Marketing Donut and helped to recruit a community of marketing experts who contributed to the site. He obtained sponsorship from leading brands, and enabled third party organisations to syndicate the site as their own. He also oversaw the development of MyDonut, the e-newsletter that accompanies the Donut sites. Until recently Mick also managed clients (for BHP) including Yell and Royal Mail, helping them with their B2B marketing to the small business sector. Before joining BHP in 2002, Mick was a freelance marketing and business development consultant. Previously, he managed the marketing for sport and entertainment publishing houses.
