I am an editor and motion graphics artist/compositor. I've been working in the industry for 15 years and have spent the last 12 years as a freelancer. My work has spanned the whole media industry.
Most recently, i have just finished working on visual effects and compositing for 'This is Jinsy', a comedy series for BSkyB.
I've worked in the film industry on features, working within teams, to complete picture in picture gfx, (e.g. Casino Royale 2006). I've also worked within the commercial sector and have completed title idents for Cartoon Network, E4, Tomorrows World Live, Jack Dee - Live at the Apollo and a number of TVC's and pop promos. Corporate work has also been a great creative outlet for me and i've completed high end work for companies such as: Barclays, AAH, Coca Cola, The Warner Group, Deutsche Bank, Sanofi Aventis, Interserve, Decanter, Arcadia Group, Selfridges, Debenhams, Ferrari, Jaguar and Toshiba.
I am a creative first, so will always be keen to be involved in the ideas stage. I have lots of client facing experience and over the years have had to manage teams, to concept and create, to time and budget. As an editor and motion graphics designer, i can tell a story, i have an in built sense of pace and i know how to prepare and execute edits for online finessing. With most content having some kind of post production treatment, the 2 go hand in hand.

I was part of a small team, commisioned with producing all of the 'real time playback' picture in picture gfx. All design was completed using Illustrator, animated through After Effects and then programmed and installed using Director. Some graphics were completed to HD, with hero screens being completed to 4K resolution.

This was a solo project. Open brief with brand guidelines. 2 days to concept and create. All designed using Illustrator and animated through After effects. SFX through Soundtrack pro and onlined and Mastered on FCP.

This is Sky Atlantic's new comedy drama, about the island of Jinsy and its residents. It was shot entirely on green screen, so every frame was designed with island geography in mind. Over the series, myself and a team of 5 other compositors, worked on nearly 2,200 shots. Directed by Matt Lipsey. 'This is Jinsy' is a Welded Tandem Picture Company production for BSkyB. ©2011.
