DESCRIPTION:This course is an introduction to what is probably the best multimedia animation application for the web. Animators throughout the world use Flash not only for web animation but also for broadcast productions.

The course aims to provide an overview of Flash and focuses on some basic principles and techniques. Towards the end of the course, trainees will develop their own projects and, time permitting, have the chance to explore more sophisticated techniques.

The course will include:

Introduction to the Flash interface
Introduction to basic Flash animation techniques
Using symbols and instances to animate
Creating frame by frame animations
How to create a website in Flash
Creating interactive elements
Importing video
Exporting for the web
