Antlers
Antlers fifth show brings together seven Bristol based artists on the theme of Anatomy. Housed in Antlers former residence 2 Park Street, Anatomy will launch Saturday 9 July 2011 as part of the Pride Bristol 2011 programme.
Some works within the exhibition explore the theme in a more literal way with depictions of anatomical parts and bodies while other works explore the anatomy of an idea, taking something a part to reach a greater understanding of it. With references to the knowledge, literature, science surrounding anatomy this group show presents enquiries into our changing conceptions of our own physicality.
Artists: Alexander Korzer-Robinson, Ellie Coates, Laura Wady, Mr Mead, Rose Sanderson, Ryan Hodge and Tim Lane.
Preview:- 9 July 6-9pm
2 Park Street, BS1 5HS.
9 – 31 July, 11-7 daily
