This course will provide you with a thorough understanding of the principles and practices utilised in character design in the film, television and the games industry. You will develop your own creative and conceptual proficiency, whilst mastering the criteria that enables you to expand those skills beyond the original 2D concepts. You will have the opportunity to experiment with character design techniques, including puppetry & maquette building, allowing you to explore & define the personalities of your characters and to realise them in physical 3D. You will learn about model sheet creation and devising a character profile.
