Charities: Improve your user experience

03.30PM - 08:00PM | 0

Nomensa offices

User experience design agency, Nomensa are holding an open day for the charity sector to provide best practice advice for online user experience.

On Thursday 14th April 2011, Nomensa will be opening their doors and inviting the charity sector to an afternoon of seminars and one-on-one website evaluation clinics. There are limited spaces available so Nomensa are advising those wishing to attend to book early to this free event.

Nomensa have a vast amount of knowledge in the online charity sector following work with clients including the National Trust, VSO, Breast Cancer Care, Big Lottery Fund, National Autistic Society, Macmillan Cancer Support, Guide Dogs for the Blind and the British Computer Association for the Blind.

Nomensa will deliver two seminars that will help you engage with your audiences more deeply through utilising best practice usability, accessibility and social media techniques. Both seminars will offer advice on driving donations and increasing awareness through user experience design.

Nomensa’s Managing Director, Simon Norris will kick off the seminars, explaining how to design best practice usability into your website. This will help you to deliver ‘joined up’ fundraising and donation processes. Through this, your audiences will feel more engaged with your charity.

Director of Accessibility at Nomensa, Léonie Watson will then present about UK accessibility guidelines and how it affects your website and audience.

Both seminars will offer fantastic advice on how to provide a better online experience to build supporters, improve awareness and increase donations.

In addition to these seminars, Nomensa are also running one-on-one website evaluation clinics with their usability and accessibility experts. Nomensa hope that these clinics will give organisations the chance to gain feedback on key areas where their website may better support users.
