During his talk: New Developments in Mobile & Pervasive Applications, Tim will tell us about his experiences with Smart phones and related technologies during his 10 year career as a Senior Researcher at Hewlett Packard and his later start-up business.

Cloud Computing: James Cook, owner of SpiderGroup, gives a talk on the future of Cloud Computing. He set up SpiderGroup 9 years ago after finishing a Chemistry degree at Bristol University and their original mission statement was "to help businesses to get the most out of technology" and they remain true to this motto today. In particular James will be addressing the questions around the cloud: Is it secure? Is it expensive? How do I know if it's right for me?

Social Media: Internet Evangelist & Business Specialist, Dickie Armour recently became a Non-Executive Director of Nominet, the central registry for all UK domain names. Dickie is also a Hootsuite Certified Professional and will be talking about how social media can massively enhance our online communications.

Tech Talks also allows you to interact, network and speak one-to-one to our panel of speakers. The SpiderGroup team will also be on hand to provide live one-to-one demonstrations during the networking breaks if you wish to see how Cloud Computing might work for your business
