Crunch: The Art and Music Festival at Hay
18 Nov - 21 Nov | varies
The Globe
Crunch 2011 brings together philosophers, artists, politicians, novelists, sociologists, critics, and scientists, to ask the big question: what's the point of art? And there'll be headline acts, bands and parties each evening and into the night.
This year our theme is ‘awake in the universe’. We've doubled in size. There's a new art pavilion to explore, more than 30 talks and debates, 22 live bands with the most exciting new music around, an array of top comedy and cabaret, and of course our legendary parties. It will be a weekend to overwhelm the senses.
Legendary director Nicolas Roeg, artist Jake Chapman and stunning songstress Mara Carlyle are just a few of the names who'll be making this year's Crunch a must-see.
