Katie Day joined the Pervasive Media Studio as Associate Producer of Theatre Sandbox, a commissioning scheme for theatre artists and companies to research and develop new ideas utilising pervasive media technologies. In December 2010, Katie will return to Birmingham to continue the development of her own projects through her company The Other Way Works.

For this lunchtime talk, Katie uses the knowledge and experience gained through her involvement with Theatre Sandbox to explore her own theatre projects using pervasive media. This involves sharing an insight into past successes, as well as presenting early, unformed ideas for potential projects – for which Katie invites creative and technical input.

The focus of this event is on sharing experiences gained in the area of emerging technologies and performance and discussing ideas – a great opportunity to meet people interested in theatre in the digital age.
