Paris, Texas (Wim Wenders, 1984)
This Spring, Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) are screening three films by German director and producer Wim Wenders. The first is Paris, Texas on Monday 26 April.
Wide shots of the Texas desert and a mesmeric sound track by Ry Cooder make Paris, Texas a film everyone will want to see again. One of Wim Wender’s best films to date, it boasts excellent cinematography by Robby Müller.
Travis has been lost for four years and, as he makes his way back to his brother’s place, we find out exactly what has been going on in his life…
