A wide ranging review and discussion covering the impact, opportunity, risks and challenges that social media tools like Twitter and Facebook bring to the reporting of news events.  How can they be integrated into the news output?  When will they tip off a journalist, and when will they trip one up?

Local Journalism &#8211; Serving Bristol Better
A Panel session chaired by Janet Jones, Principal Lecturer, Journalism, University of the West of England.  How the changing media landscape will influence the way that Bristol is served as a community.
