Chris Anderson is coming back to Bath. The local boy who founded Future Publishing with a £10,000 bank loan and now runs the worldwide phenomenon that is the TED Conference, is coming to Bath to speak at Creative Bath’s autumn keynote event.

TED (the name stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design) is the internet sensation that provides speakers with a platform to put their interesting, unusual and potentially groundbreaking ideas before a global audience. The twist is they only have 18 minutes in which to do so.

Bill Clinton, Richard Dawkins and David Cameron have all had the TED treatment. There are 764 talks currently online, which have been translated into 77 languages and viewed more than 290 million times.

Chris Anderson will be talking at the Little Theatre Cinema in Bath from 6pm on Thursday 21st October.
