Last Month South West Screen announced incredibly exciting plans to fund three feature films in Bristol next year. But why wait? All the talent necessary to make great films is right here, albeit to a large extent working In isolation. This event is designed to facilitate the connections needed to make feature film projects happen.
This night is open to ambitious filmmakers and professionals from related disciplines (Theatre, New Media etc) who are open to meeting potential collaborators and sharing ideas, strategies and philosophies on how to get our big stories on the big screen. Questions such as: ‘Where do we find the great writers?’ and ‘Who has money to invest?’ will be discussed.
Feature filmmaking is a tough business – and getting experience in a town where feature film productions do not often occur is even harder. So, it’s up to us to work out how to do it. Come along and get inspired.
The Event is designed to be a ‘follow on’ from Media Tuesday which starts at 6.15pm, but can be visited stand-alone if you prefer.
