Knowledge Transfer has the potential to play a central role in driving successful innovation across the  creative industries. But what will it look like and how will it operate in five years time? This is one of the major issues that the Creative Industries KTN Beacon project “Unlocking Knowledge Transfer” will explore over the coming months.

We would like to invite you to take part in the first of a series of nationwide consultations that will build a vision of how Knowledge Transfer will help the creative industries.

The workshop, developed and delivered by Prospect, will be an interactive session of two hours, in which we will take a fast paced look at a number of questions, including:

-  what do we mean by Knowledge Transfer?

-  how do the creative industries currently share knowledge?

-  what are the barriers to making knowledge transfer effective?

-  how can we establish a value for KT in the creative industries?

-  what effect is the advent of social networks having on KT?

We would very much value your attendance at this workshop. Your contributions as a professional and a practitioner will be essential to making this project a success.
