Deadly 360
Big Bang Post Production has just completed the post production on a 13 x 30’ series for BBC NHU Childrens.
This ground-breaking new CBBC series puts Steve Backshall in his very own virtual studio, with some of the most stunning natural history footage ever filmed at his fingertips.
Each week, using interactive screens, Steve will break down all the action as three phenomenal predators take on three cunning & resourceful prey animals in an epic battle for survival – each screen provides him with a range of analytical tools – including the latest graphics, maps, slow motion, magnification and rewind techniques.
He also has access to a host of real live animals, skeletons, holographic footage and 3D computer-generated models, allowing him to delve beneath the fur and the feathers to uncover the hidden factors that influence each hunt and explain why predators succeed and why they sometimes fail.
Big Bang Post Production provided a post production and graphics workflow in conjunction with Kiss My Pixel graphics house, and provided offline, picture post production and sound design on this series which transmits on Thursday 15th September 2001 at 5.15pm on CBBC weekly.
