No DescriptionPR and digital marketing agency, Renegade Media, is celebrating further industry acclaim thanks to four new award nominations – including Gloucestershire’s Small Business of the Year.

The news comes after Renegade, which specialises in PR, search marketing and social media, had two campaigns –“Please ReTweet Me and “MINI vs. Monster” – shortlisted in the annual DADI Awards (Drum Award for the Digital Industries) last month.

The same work has impressed again in awards organised by PR industry body, the CIPR, and at the Digital Impact Awards, which celebrate digital marketing excellence.

“Please ReTweet Me”– a social media campaign created for Stroud-based charity, the Meningitis Trust – has been shortlisted in ‘Not-for-Profit’ category at the CIPR PRide West of England Awards, and has earned a nomination for ‘Best use of digital by a NGO, NFP or charity’ in the Digital Impact Awards.

An international PR and social media campaign for BMW MINI, entitled “MINI vs. Monster”, has also been shortlisted for a Digital Impact Award in the ‘Best use of existing social media platforms/sites’ category.

Renegade’s final nomination is for ‘Small Business of the Year’ in the Gloucestershire Business Awards, the county’s premier event for recognising excellence and achievement in the local business community.

Mark Terry-Lush, Renegade’s CEO and founder, said: “It’s a huge achievement to be nominated for a further four awards – more recognition for our growing team and testament to their creativity, technical expertise and commitment to deliver the best work for local as well as overseas clients. It means a lot to be acknowledged by our peers in the industry, but more so by our local business community.”

Renegade Media was founded in 2001. Since then the team has worked on numerous campaigns for ASICS, BMW MINI, Converse, Courvoisier, Intel, Under Armour, and Sony Ericsson, and for some of the world’s leading advertising agencies based in Europe, USA and China.

The company also works locally with Cheltenham-based luxury hotel, Ellenborough Park, which it helped win two ‘Oscars’ at the recent World Travel Awards; and was a driving force behind Camphill Trust-owned Taurus Crafts’ campaign to attract visitors to the box office-breaking Luminarium exhibition.
