Animated Exeter is pleased to announce new competition categories for the February 2012 festival.

The competitions are now open to entries from anywhere in the United Kingdom and we are currently seeking prize sponsors.

The categories are:

• Screen Out Loud Independent Talent Award, open to any UK independent animator, over 18 Deadline: 1st November
• The Graduates New Talent Award, now open to 2011 graduates from all animation courses in the UK. Deadline 1st November
• The Young Ones Emerging Talent Award for 7 - 11 yr olds and 12 - 18 yr olds, either as individuals or schools & groups, open to all young animators in the UK. Deadline 1st December

Festival Dates are:
School’s week: 6th – 10th February
Main Festival:  Thursday 16th Feb to Sunday 19th Feb
