Big Bang Post Production has just completed the post production on the first of the eight part 30 minute series for BBC 1.  

Nigel Slater’s Simple Cooking will see Nigel exploring classic culinary pairings - such as sweet and sour or spicy and cool - to work out why these combinations taste so good, and how we can use this knowledge to make us better cooks. As Nigel says, it’s not just about loving food, but understanding it too.   
In each episode Nigel will cook his favourite recipes that illustrate a single principle, like sweet and sour. Every recipe will be utterly delicious, simple and most importantly, easy to tweak to your own taste and mood.  

And in a new mission to find out about other people’s favourite recipes, Nigel will be heading out to sample the dishes of fellow passionate cooks around the country.
