No DescriptionCity of Bristol College is currently putting together a proposal to secure government funding to develop in-work vocational higher level skills provision for the creative sector in Bristol.

The £25m National Apprenticeship Service fund was recently launched with the objective of increasing the number of higher level Apprenticeship routes open to employers, their employees and potential new recruits.  It aims to ensure that Higher Apprenticeships become a recognised and popular route into a profession.

Currently there are no vocational higher level pathways for apprentices in the creative sector, leaving a skills gap for businesses to contend with.

City of Bristol College would like to work with local creative sector employers on addressing this issue, and designing provision which responds to your business needs.

If you would like to find out more, contribute to the project or simply offer endorsement to support the College’s bid for funding, please contact Henry Lawes on Henry.Lawes@cityofbristol.ac.uk or tel: 0117 312 2148.
