No DescriptionWe're really pleased to be able to announce that David Sloly, former Executive Creative Director at Harte Hanks/Mason Zimbler, is joining Bristol Media as Creative Director.

David Sloly As many of you will already know , David comes to us with not only a great track record in marketing and advertising but many years experience in TV, radio and music. He has worked with some great brands, and has the connections that will really raise the profile of Bristol Media on a local, national and international stage.

David is a thought-leader and strategist, and he’ll be working together with Caroline, Maddie and the Board Directors to ensure that the organisation remains at the forefront of the exciting developments in the Creative Industries in the City and nationally.  

David is already working with the Bristol Media and Bright Events team and the Creative Directors Network to put together the programme for this year's Vision Conference. But there are many other exciting opportunities opening up in Bristol which David will be working on with us and which we will be able to announce later in the year.

David said, "I'm excited about working with the Bristol Media team to unite the collective creative talents in Bristol. The Vision 2011 conference is the first step towards making that goal real".

Caroline continues to manage the network along with assistance from part time co-ordinator Maddie.  Paul remains as the Chair representing Bristol Media at the LEP, City Council, BBC and the iNet and the Board of Directors continue to meet once a month.

David is going to try to meet as many members as possible over the coming months either on e one to one basis or at Media Tuesdays which will start again in September.

In the meantime, we hope you are as interested and excited as we are by this important addition to the Bristol Media team.
