No DescriptionThe Prince’s Trust is hosting its inaugural Evening of Art in the South West at the prestigious Assembly Rooms in Bath on 7th December 2011.  The event aims to bring together art-lovers from across the South West in order to raise vital funds to support young people in the region.  The aim is to raise £50,000 from an auction of Art.

Young people are facing an increasingly tough time.  Job opportunities are scarce, and what is out there feels even more ‘out-of-reach’ for the young people The Trust supports - those who are struggling at school, long-term unemployed, have experienced life in the care system or have been in trouble with the law.

It costs the government £16,000 to support just one individual jobseeker for a year.  The Prince’s Trust can help a young person get into work, education or training with as little as £50.

The Prince’s Trust is appealing to the Artist community for help in reaching its target of raising £50,000 from the Evening of Art.  Could you kindly donate a piece of your work to be auctioned on the night?

The Trust is looking for Artwork with a minimum value of £750.
Your work will sit alongside Art by Sir Peter Blake, Ken Howard and Nick Park, all of which will be auctioned on the night.  Top-class auctioneer Richard Madley will be running the auction and a Prince’s Trust Celebrity Ambassador will officially open the night.

Hundreds of young people in the South West will benefit from the proceeds of the event, which in turn will have a huge impact on our local community.  Please support this prestigious event and thus help us to change young lives in the South West.
