Factual Commissioning - The Inside Track
Join us for this exclusive Bristol Media event for the ultimate inside knowledge on the pitching process.
Ever pitched an idea and not got the commission? Have a great factual idea but don’t know where to start with the pitch process? Or perhaps you need a little reassurance that you’re on the right track.
Hot on the heels of the Sheffield Doc Fest we have a panel of senior figures in the TV industry who have kindly agreed to share their insights into the current factual commissioning climate. Andrew Jackson (Head of BBC Natural History Unit), Ben Gale (Head of BBC Bristol Factual), Carl Hall (CEO Parthenon Entertainment) and Owen Gay (Head of Popular Factual, Icon Films) will also offer top tips on how to get your project ‘green lit’.
This is an essential event for anyone serious about getting a broadcast project commissioned and a great networking opportunity.
The event will be held at Tiki (formerly The Picture House), Whiteladies Road on Monday 13th June from 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Estimated finish time 8:00pm. We expect this event to sell out really quickly so please book your place via Eventbrite on our Diary page as soon as possible and bring your ticket with you.
