Website Development Agreements – the pitfalls and key considerations for both parties, including:(a) Acceptance testing
(b) A fair approvals process
(c) Delays in the build, bug fixes, sign-off and/or launch
(d) The importance of defined Specifications
(e) Fees, payment terms and value for money
(f) Penalties for late/incomplete delivery
(g) Disputes – what happens when it goes wrong?

Support of the website – key issues and terms to consider in negotiations

Hosting of the site – key considerations including exit arrangements from your hosting provider

Upgrades and ongoing tweaks to the website – how to get the best deal from your developer and how to ensure you don’t overpay later for site changes.

By the end of the session you will:
Know the key issues to consider when developing a website for clients to ensure you are protected from legal risk and receive prompt payment.
Know the key issues to consider when commissioning a site to be developed to ensure your site works as envisaged and is delivered on time and on budget.  

The workshop will take place in The Loft at Goldbrick House from 4pm-6pm on Tuesday 28th June.
The cost is £20(+VAT) for members and £40 (+VAT) for non-members.
