Anchor Logo  Innovation Academy  Innovation Academy gets the BBC working with the Bristol Media community to share knowledge and experience on the key innovations for 2011.

From YouView to located media; the latest in graphics; interface design and how the News can be transformed, we’ll cover the industry talking-points.

Sessions are designed in 2 parts :

  • An interactive briefing on a hot topic from industry experts that will bring you right up to date, and answer those burning questions
  • A deeper, often “hands-on” experience you can take as far as you need, using the latest technology and hearing the detail of the latest techniques.

The sessions are free and the participants will be a mix of BBC and industry practitioners, drawing on the facilities and research from the BBC Academy.  There will be plenty of opportunities for networking.

Innovation Academy is the first project for the Bristol-BBC Innovation Testbed, following on the success of the 3-day workshops held in March 2010.

It is part of the Bristol-BBC Anchor, is funded by SWRDA, in collaboration with the BBC Academy.
