If you follow the local news and Twitter, you will have heard that Venue magazine is facing closure with the final issue due out on 16th March.  There's been a decline in readership and coupled with a huge lack of advertising over the last few months, the magazine has become unsustainable.  However, Joe Spurgeon, Editor, thinks there may be a way to save it as the team investigate various rescue packages.  But your help is required.  If you've ever used the mag to choose a restaurant, decide which film to see or which gig to go to, or read about art, events, music, dance, comedy, clubs, please go and buy a copy of the latest magazine and ask all your friends and colleagues to do the same.  Then Venue would like to know via http://www.venue.co.uk/component/chronocontact/?chronoformname=isawyou if you think Bristol and Bath need an intelligent what’s on, arts and cultural magazine.
