What’s More Important: Advice or Investment?
Whichever is right for your business, South West Screen has brought two leading UK programmes to the region, and you can join them for just 10% of their usual cost. But there’s just over a week left to get your application in.
Mentoring
Clichéd as it sounds, It really can be lonely at the top; so talking to someone who has already been through what you’re going through can hugely beneficial. ‘Mentoring’ is the programme developed by NESTA to enable creative leaders to get expert advice from highly successful creative entrepreneurs. By sharing their experience of growing their own business, mentors can help business leaders take decisions more quickly and confidently. They provide a route for leaders to widen their own knowledge and skills to manage their business better and grow it more rapidly.
Investment Readiness
Have you ever thought that Bankers don’t ‘get’ your idea or understand your business? A big problem creative leaders’ face is that investors don’t understand creative businesses. When they turn down finance, it’s not because the idea’s bad, it’s frequently because they just they don’t ‘get’ it! Leading UK investment consultants Pembridge Partners will deliver a series of intense workshops to show company leaders exactly what financiers are looking for; what aspects of their proposition investors want to know about, and how to deliver it.
Both these programmes would cost £4500, commercially, however you can sign up to either for just £450, thanks to a generous subsidy from the iNet. However places are filling up fast and there’s just over a week left to apply.
