Bristol Encounters International Film Festival is back this November (16th to 20th) to showcase the best short film and animation talent from around the world and the festival is offering Bristol Media members an exclusive 10% discount on your delegate pass.

This year the festival will showcase 180 new films from emerging and established talent from 31 countries, as well as a whole host of events, including industry symposiums, workshops on cinematography and directing actors, talks and masterclasses. Featuring industry specialists such as cinematographer Brian Tufano (Trainspotting), director Carol Morley (Edge), festival programmer Laurent Million (Annecy International Festival), talent scout Shelley Page (DreamWorks Animation) plus specialist schools such as LFA, NFTS and more.

With special guests including director Bruce Robinson (Withnail & I, The Rum Diary), animator John Kricfalusi (The Ren & Stimpy Show), and live music accompaniments to classic horror flicks with The Magical Misery Tour, and silent films with JJ and the Birdman.
