What makes great TV? Is that definition changing, or are there certain constants that never vary? Throughout the autumn, BBC Bristol Factual and Bristol Anchor Partnership will host a series of talks which explore these questions from a range of different perspectives.

On hand to give their particular point of view will be Simon Dickson, Commissioning Editor, Documentaries, Channel 4; Peter Moore, Executive Producer who brought The Apprentice to these shores; Jan Harlan, feature film producer who was Executive Producer to the legendary Stanley Kubrick; Leanne Klein, Executive Producer of Wall to Wall, a pioneer in the field of ‘living history’ programming; and Robert Thirkell, the Executive Producer behind Jamie Oliver, Heston Blumenthal and Sir John Harvey-Jones.
