This week sees the launch of a new, weekly property publication for the city, Bristol Property Live.

Out on Thursdays and available free from supermarkets, shops, cafes and estate agents across the city, Bristol Property Live is being published by a group of the city’s leading estate agents who believe Bristol deserves a choice of media when it comes to selling your home.

The values behind Bristol Property Live are to provide quality writing, breadth of content, design values and availability. The magazine, which can also be viewed digitally at www.bristolpropertylive.co.uk, carries community profiles, food & drink articles, entertainment & leisure and guest interviews alongside the property profiles, listings and news.

Co-founder Anna Maggs of Maggs & Allen estate agency commented: “Bristol agents have long wished for an alternative to the traditional property papers and by working together, local agents have developed a quality publication to better serve the property buying public. Choice and healthy competition has to be a good thing for everyone.”

Any profits made will be re-invested back into further editorial improvements, extra pages, more copies and wider distribution.

Bristol-based print & digital publishers Wildfire Comms have worked for over a year with the local agents to help create the new title and are publishing it on their behalf. Wildfire MD Dougal Templeton, former founder of Venue and Folio Magazines, said: ”We hope people will back this independent venture by using BPL estate agents when selling their home, or by letting their estate agent of choice know about this new marketing opportunity.”
