It’s that time again – the BIG football tournament is almost upon us.
Forget South Africa, we’re celebrating the beautiful game by seeing hundreds of Bristol Media’s finest take to the pitches of Clifton College Sports Centre this weekend on Sunday 18th July
Last year, our efforts helped secure the World Cup Bid for Bristol; this year, we’re offering more games, with a “plate” competition for the nearly-teams after the group stage to run in parallel with the main knock-out. Plus there’s the coveted trophy for the final winning team. We’ve booked the bar & barbie, and are in negotiations for the fantastic weather that we are used to!
We have 30 teams with Smith & Williamson deterined to defend their title. The tournament takes place on Sunday 18th July at Clifton College Sports Ground with kick off at 2pm.
As usual there will be plenty of entertainment organised by Riot Events, including live music and games for the kids, plus food and drink for the crowds of friends and family who we know will be loyally supporting you through thick and thin during the afternoon.
