Chris Thurling

We’re delighted to announce that Digital Agency 3Sixty MD, Chris Thurling will be joining the Board of Bristol Media. Chris will be responsible for the digital sector ensuring that Bristol Media delivers activity that this sector wants to see over the coming twelve months.

Chris is Managing Director of digital marketing agency 3Sixty, who were named yesterday as one of the region’s most respected creative companies (for the second consecutive year) in our Top 100 Creative Company League Table. 3Sixty, which is based close to the University in Clifton was established in 1995 and delivers digital projects and campaigns for many bluechip clients including Bristol Airport, Deutsche Bahn, Denplan (part of AXA) and Birmingham Airport.

“Bristol has an incredibly vibrant and creative digital scene and I hope that by joining the board of Bristol Media I can play a small part in helping to grow and strengthen the sector” said Chris.

Over the years Chris has been involved in various regional initiatives. He was Chairman of the Bristol Chamber of Commerce eBusiness Club, a former Bristol Board Member of Young Enterprise, a former Vice-Chairman of the Trustees of contemporary arts venue Spike Island, a member of the West of England Initiative and a graduate of the Common Purpose Programme. Chris is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) Digital Creative Group, and an occasional lecturer at Bristol University on digital marketing.

“My immediate priority is looking at how Bristol digital agencies can attract and retain the best talent. I am also very interested in fostering collaboration both within the sector and across sectors – I think that this is something that Bristol does well and is a real strength of being based here”.
